pH Test Kits

pH Test Kits are a necessary step in the paint removal and restoration process. After using some products, such as Peel Away® 1, Peel Away® Marine, Peel Away® Deck Stripper, and Peel Away® Deck Restorer, the pH of the surface will raise and become more alkaline. To combat this, Dumond® sells Citri-Lize™ to lower the pH. Use pH Test Kits to determine when the pH is back down to a normal level before repainting and recoating to ensure a successful adhesion of future coatings. pH Test Kits are included under the lid in the full kits of Peel Away® 1 and Peel Away® Marine. pH Test Kits are available in packs of 15 strips.
